I was born in San Diego Ca and now live in Corpus Christi, TX.
I started the Rubber-Twins in 2003 with the stories I wrote for the Yahoo group
(renosrubberroom).  I actually created most of the characters back in 1988 and the character of
Nonie aka Elasticity in 1979.  Most of the creations were do to RPGs sessions (Steve
Jackson's TOON series)  The most popular were the superheroes and the space adventures,
which helped the coarse I wanted to take with the stories to come.  We would get together with
my niece Nicole, and my brother Patrick and we would have fun.  Later, I started to create a
comic book series using the characters we created.  Then called "Unlikely Heroes" it never
really took off, then I discovered the Yahoo groups and re-vamped the story concept using
Elasticity as the title character.
Next, I got into digital photo manipulation and began to STRETCH images of Nonie to
illustrate her stretchiness, but finding pictures to use was not good to do (mainly because
getting the right look was not easy with the pose).  Then I got Poser 5 and began to teach
myself how to use it.  I couldn't get her Elasticity costume to look like what I had designed and
had to settled on a different outfit.  Then, by a crazy thing of fate, I stumbled on a way to change
the textures of the 3D models and Nonie got her Elasticity costume that I really loved.  Since
then I have UP-graded to Poser 6, got Carrara 5, Bryce 5.5, and I'm now creating and editing
my own 3D models.
As I worked on the characters, I got cartoon versions and did some work in the material
room in Poser 6 and got a really good "cartoony" look to the characters.  (check out my Comics
section)  I use that technique just for the comic strips, most others I use the stander Poser
models.
